Cristiano Ronaldo - to the limit for a sky sports documentary
Cristiano Ronaldo - to the limit for a sky sports documentary
When the university of Chichester flew out to Madrid, Spain to carry out series of test on Ronaldo to find out what makes him one of the best football players in the world. The team spend five hours in a film studio which was decked out with AstroTurf. The team performance tested on the football on assessing his spiriting and free-kick taking amongst other attributes. However though this study a number of problem occurred.
- One of the test which was carried out was to analysis Ronaldo famous kick, however it was seen in footage that Ronaldo wasn't taken the kick as he would normal. I feel this is due to him not wanting anyone to know how he is perform acing these kick which are making him an successfully goal scorer.
- The research's wanted to see the Light system to use to compare Ronaldo speed against fastest Spanish 100m runner. However this was un able as the equipment wouldn't allow two athletes data to be taken.
-One of the test under taken was Ronaldo power, they had sheets of glass and Ronaldo had to kick a ball and see how many sheets of glasses his power kick managed to get though. Problem that they only had one set of glass so only had one taken no matter the results or any mistakes. They would need to have a few sets of sheets of glasses to make sure they would do it a number of times in case anything went wrong.
- One issue the research came around was when putting marked on Ronaldo to get 3D imaging result some marked would fall as he was physically moving and kicking football's. The marked would of need to put on permanently, suggestion of having an outfit which the marked are also permanently on which Ronaldo could of worn.
